Lawrence Family Fun: 4th of July Party

After we got home from the parade and took a little rest we went for a swim with the Norlie girls while the guys tended to the barbecue. We had a court party with our neighbors, the Norlies and family, Bill and date, my sister, Summer and her family, and my dad and Ellen came all the way from Texas. After swimming in the backyard we moved to a little blow up pool in the front yard. We had lots of fun just hanging out with friends and family. When it finally got dark the kids played with sparklers while the moms held their breathe that no one would get hurt. The guys put on a great fireworks show that ended at the same time Del Paso Country Club began their show. Emma, Lucy and Grace were so worn out that they fell asleep during the fireworks. The kids had lots of lemonade, cupcakes, Popsicles and brownies. I think that Bop Pop got a chicken down them. They had a good time!
