Our Carmel Getaway

Brian and I got a chance to go to Carmel for a few days. We stayed in a cottage at the La Playa hotel which turned out to be more like a little house. It was amazing! We walked around Carmel and looked at the shops and walked the beach everyday. It was really nice to get away and then to come home a little refreshed.

Beautiful Carmel Beach and Pebble Beach golf course

There were lots of dogs on the beach running in and out of the ocean, we started talking about how much fun it would be to get a puppy until we got home...maybe in a few more years.

Carmel is quite the dog town. Everyone brings there dogs to show them off. Little old ladies pushing little dogs with bows and sweaters in dog strollers or in designer dog purses or big fancy dogs on fancy leashes. All the shops have a dog water bowl outside their door. The Tiffany dog bowl was silver with a heart return to Tiffany's charm. It is most likely smart water and not just tap water.

On our last day we went whale watching and saw a few whales and a HUGE group of dolphins.

This was a Huge group of dolphins. The darker water is actually the dolphins under water. It was amazing. I have never seen so many dolphins swimming, jumping and splashing!!!!
